I’ve been putting together my five-year writing plan together. I have to keep reminding myself that I don’t have to write every idea I have in five years. As much fun as it would be to write all 10 – okay, 13 – of them, that’s pushing it a bit. I’m not on a deadline, besides my own personal ones for the Morrighan House series. After that, I’ll see how things go. And not just for writing, I just have to keep reminding myself that there are no set deadlines. Not for writing, not for work, not for relationships. There’s nothing that says I can’t do it at my own pace. (Okay, obviously the sooner I have permanent work the better. But that doesn’t mean if I’m not employed by graduation I’ll be unemployed forever.)
Anyway, the last thing I want is to burn myself out with writing and start to hate it. All three Morrighan House books will (hopefully) be released next year. Beyond that? We’ll see.
